New Gabe Pictures

Hi Julie,

While we were out raking leaves today, Mr. Gabe was being his wonderful self and enjoying the leaves and frisbee.  Hope you don't mind, but here are a couple of pictures from today.  The 'silver' disc is the CGC disc that he wears.  He's such a happy boy and so loved.

Day One

Ahhhh life is so much better after getting a full night of sleep!

It always amazes Mos how quickly I hop out of bed when there are puppies to tend to.  Anyway, I digress, these pups are very dark.  I think they are the darkest pups I have had since I started breeding full German lines.

Personalities seem to be already evident.  One boy is very sweet and loves being cuddled and held.  The biggest boy is all about the food.  Pick him up he is flailing around in search of "da Milk."  Hold him and you worry about the force of his sucking will pull your face from your head. This guy is all business.  The the third pup is a combination, he inspects necks and faces for potential food sources but also is comforted by the touch and warmth of being held.

More later.....

1, 2, 3

We had a surprise a third puppy!  Another male!  This is the second time I have bred to Hoss and not a single female in either litter.

The pups are active and vigorious, and already they have their own opinion!

Puppy Watch

Puppies are popping,  popping inside, not popping out.     The babies respond to my hands on her belly. I, of course , talk to them and ask them questions like "...when are you coming out?"

The pups have dropped and Faye's milk is in, however, her temperature has remained steady.  Getting close, but not here yet.  Tomorrow is the 63rd day from the last breeding.

.....we are all anxiously awaiting.
