Watching the video's of the GSD at Westmisnter this year all I could think is this doesn't look right.  I agree with the Germans the GSD should only be shown outside.  This is where they are most beautiful.  inside they look like fish out of water. NEW VENUE FOR 2008 WINTER OLYMPICS


I took these this am and the water has already receded 2 feet!


The first photo is my solid ice driveway which will be great for 

bobsled and luge.

The next photos show the location of all the skating events.

The other big news is that all 5 shepherds got skunked in the face 

last night about 11 pm - I spent the next 3 hours bathing them in 

all the special anti-skunk remedies but they still STINK!

Lance in the Show Ring

I had the pleasure of watching Laura show her young male, Lance (Vando x Chopper),  this past Saturday at the UKC show in Kalamazoo.  Lance won the Champion class the first show and was Reserve Champion the second show.  It was thrilling for me was to see how well Laura and Lance performed together in an area that is completely out of Laura's comfort zone. Many kudos to you Laura!  Lance is a beautiful moving dog. 

Now I just have to work on to get past feeling "out of control" when Lance moves out on the leash! Then they will be an almost flawless team!
