Saturday afternoon Brody and I headed up to Kensington Metro Park. It’s a very nice, large park about 15 minutes away from my house. I buy an annual pass here every year. This was his first time in the park and the first time he was exposed to bicycles, joggers, lots of dogs being walked, traffic nearby, etc. He did great! He was the hit of the park. Everyone that went by us commented on how handsome he is.
We kept an eye out trying to find Roman’s secret swan chasing swimming spot, but the water levels are so low here in Michigan that everything close to shore was all lily pads and algae. Maybe we’ll find a good spot next Saturday!
Great photo’s and commentary Lee!
that’s great! The kids and I were just talking about taking Ruki there this weekend. Maybe we will see you there sometime.
I’m sure Ruki will love it. We should get Roman and all the other dogs that are local and have an A-T party at Kensington some time!
For sure!! We love Kensington!
Loved your story Lee, especially the “Chick magnet” part… 🙂
Brody looks superb. He is definitely the magnet-type!
“Hi there, my name is Brody, I need a mommy”
He is beyond adorable, his expression is priceless~!
Great story and pictures Lee.
Brody is getting more and more handsome. What a lucky boy to have an afternoon at the park….even if he did have to “work” as a magnet…!
OMG. That first picture is too much cuteness!
Brody has “chick magnet” written all over him.
Great pix and story, Lee.
Great photographs Lee. How are you enjoying your camera?
We were over there on Saturday morning with our three. We wanted to beat the heat!!!
I’m really enjoying the camera! I still have a lot of practice to do though. I also need donations of several thousand dollars to support my lens buying habit.
LOL~ I have about 4 total but the one that’s always on my camera is the 50 1.8 – I can’t afford Carole’s super lense and of course, Julie’s gear!
So true! Julie’s gear looks like a shoulder fired rocket launcher. My next lens purchase will probably be the “nifty fifty” since I have heard such good things about it!
I know your addiction to buying photographic gear. I have pretty much stopped now, but not after 5 lenses and various filters etc. All told I must have well over $10,000 worth of equipment, but of course that has been collected over time. I’d shudder to think what Julie and Carole have spent over the years.
Now if I could just be half as good as weither one of them, it would all be worth it!
He is so dang cute!!!
