The Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Cape Cod Branch held “Paws for Celebration” a fundraiser and dog walk at the Drummer Boy Park in Brewster. My Mother and I took Ivan and Dylan.
The dog walk went out to Wing Island, which you can only get out to at low tide along a board walk. Then we went out along the beach and back over the board walk and back to the park.
Back at the park there was time for socializing and Ivan made some new friends
Later in the day Dylan & Ivan participated in an obedience demonstration
Long day of fun = two very tired dogs!
Oh my gosh….I posted the top picture on the Animal Rescue League’s facebook page. They in turn sent it to New England Cable News and Ivan and Dylan were featured on the weather segment when they were talking about the weather in Brewster. They are famous boys!
I don’t know if this will work but here is a link to NECN:

Man-oh-man did they get the airtime on the evening weather! What a nice event with a good attendance even for less then ideal weather…I watched the Cape Cod weather.
That wooden walkway is wild, I have to get out and see the tides, they are so fascinating to this land-locked kid.
Holy cow—The Boys are TV stars! I couldn’t think of better event representatives.
I have never been to your part of the country, but one of these days I must get there. I find your tides just amazing. You live in such a beautiful area.
Lynda, you have famous boys. 🙂
What a great tribute to the event, and a huge congrats to all of you!
You work very hard with your dogs, and it shows!
