Herding Balls

Herding Balls are made by Boomer Ball.com.  I think they are the very same ball but they cost 90.00 compared to 15 dollars for a boomer ball.

I had to burn my boomer balls up because Casey became obsessed with them and was actually wearing her canines down trying unsuccessfully to pop the ball.  I have much better luck with the Jolly Balls.  The dogs like them but they don't become oc about them.  Even if they pop them, they're still able to play with them

Boomer ball.com specifically mentions only small herding dogs like aussies and borders to play with these Herding Balls.  I think it's because they can't open their jaws wide enough to wear their teeth down on these large balls  while with the larger breeds it is a distinct possibility.

Bye,

Margot

Bear and Lee

Last night’s Puppy Kindergarten  class went very good as usual he is very
friendly and outgoing I will try to get some photos if the weather will let
me.

Everyone that’s everyone loves Bear they are amazed!

The puppy instructor said "try this when he lays down....."  I said, "when is that.?" She said, " he sleeps doesn't he?" I said, " I do not know."   What energy he
has!

He will bark at the food bowl when done
sometimes.

I would like to take a video of Puppy Kindergarten class----  somehow
working on that, it's a two-places-at-once thing.

Until later ….. Lee & Bear

New Schutzhund Title!

Maika earned her Schutzhund One title this past weekend in Germany!  YEAH!  The only details I have so far is she did very well.  Maika is a Funny (Faye von Kirschental) daughter sired by Vice Sieger Quenn.

Below is Andrea, the talented young handler who has trained and titled Maika for me.  Next up for Andrea and Maika is the Körung and schH 2!

Heelers

Chevy and I finished our heeling class last night.  We are both better

heelers now than we were six weeks ago. YEA!

P.S.  In case I haven't mentioned it before, thanks for the smartest,

sweetest dog - my Chevy, and, of course, my darling

boys, too!

Sometimes, I want to pinch myself to see if it's  just a

dream, to be so incredibly blessed to have not just one, but three

perfect  shepherd pals from your kennel and to enjoy and cherish your

friendship , too - how lucky can one girl get?!
