Aiden’s Road Trip – Day 1

This morning Jack, Aiden and I left Cape Cod at 6:30. For those of you who know Dylan, we decided to leave him with my Mum as, at 11.5 years old, we did not feel it was in his best interest to take such a long road trip.

After a few short pit-stops along the way, when we finally got to Pennsylvania we stopped at the Promised Land State Park for some much needed exercise. Promised Land State Park is on the Pocono Plateau, 1800 feet above sea level and is surrounded by the 13,000 acre state forest. There are two lakes, several small streams and miles of hiking trails.
