Happy 2014 to everyone! I wanted to introduce Kane, Dark Green collar boy from the Gavin-Hedi K-Litter. He is the little guy who’s ears were up at 3-1/2 weeks. What happened to the ears???
The photo below is from a few weeks age and one of mom’s favorites. So cute!
Kane has been home with us for just under 4 weeks now and everyone is adjusting well to each other. Kane loves his ball and we can’t wait to start training with Gustavo.
As you can see, the ears are back up. What a face!!
What a fine addition to the family he has been. Christmas 2013 is one to remember for sure. Ava, our young one, has been asking for a dog since she was 2. I think 6 years was long enough to make her wait..Now to get past the puppy biting…Oh what fun.
Oh yea, by the way, my name is Curt Martin and my wife is Susie. We live in Farmington, MI. You may remember us from the “Martin Family Visit” photos Julie posted on the blog back in November. We love looking at and reading the blog posts. Look forward the reading and posting more in the future. Happy 2014 to you all!
Welcome to the Alta-Tollhaus family and to the Long-Dangerous Tails blog!
I was there for Kane’s* first training session with Gustavo and he did great, you are going to have fun with him! Looking forward to watching him grow!
*Great K-name! Thank you for naming him a name after his litter letter! It makes it easier for everyone to follow the puppies from a particular litter.
Ditto to what Julie said! Thank you so much for naming your K-boy with a “K!”
Curt, you and your family will have so much fun training with Gustavo! Your handsome pup will rock at these games. Welcome to the family. I look forward to reading about your adventures with Kane.
Welcome to the A-T family Curt, Susie and family.
I have to say the same as Julie and Carole….love the “K” name for your “K” litter pup.
What a super picture of the children with Kane.
Kane is a handsome fellow for sure and I look forward to updates and seeing more pictures as he grows.
Julie threw us the challenge of a K name and we had a difficult time thinking of any. Had to do a bit of thinking, and Google searching, but we are very happy with it. A bit unique, but that makes it nice. We are very, very happy to be a part of the A-T family and have received nothing except high remakes about his temperament and beauty (okay for a boy??) especially from animal experts, like the vet. I look forward to meeting many of you at training with Gustavo. I am excited and nervous about what we have to learn.
You will do great! You will have fun Gustavo is the best. If you have no experience you end up better then people that have experience, Gustavo molds you into a pro right from the start.
Hey, new blood on the blog!! ( and maybe on a few fingers too)
Congratulations on Kane – he’s a cutie. Kane and Ava will have a great 2014 together, I’m sure. Love the name Ava, too.
Welcome to the family. Kane is one handsome boy and his children are good looking as well. Don’t worry about the puppy biting-that too will pass. Just be sure to keep lots of bandaides on hand until then. Looking forward to updates as he grows.
Thanks for the welcome. The biting gets better for short periods of time, then he seems to regress. It has been 20 years since I had a puppy last, maybe it is my old age, but I don’t remember it being this bad in the past. I know it will pass, hopefully sooner then later.
