Most years we try to take a vacation in June to get off Cape before the start of the “busy season”. This morning we drove to Bridgeport, CT and took the auto ferry – the Grand Republic – to Port Jefferson on Long Island, NY. 
After having lunch in Port Jefferson we drove to Bohemia where we are staying. Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be delightful and we plan to do some sightseeing.
