Wow. I was just trying to plan my summer vacation, which was going to be touring National Parks in Utah, when I read the VERY rigorous restricitons on pets. So I guess I now have one of 3 options:
- Don’t bring the dog
- Visit the parks but only stay on paved roads and trails
- Don’t visit the parks and think of something else to do
In seeking the foundations for these restictions (save your time, there are none with foundations in science or logic) I came across this rather amusing article.

Park Systems don’t make it easy for a vacation with your pet. However, the article was entertaining!
Such a shame everywhere is getting so unfriendly to dogs.
