  • And now for something completely different…

Dear Julie,

When we first found out our humans were getting a ‘puppy’, we were indifferent. As long as we were going to keep getting all the affection and food we wanted, having another animal around to lord over didn’t seem like such a bad idea.

Days went by and we saw photos of the tiny ‘puppies’. Alpha chose the perfect specimen to become our minion.

"I want that one!"

Weeks passed without incident. A few things changed around the domicile (mostly new things to climb and scratch) but, there was still affection and food. Then, our lady starting doing something strange with our food. There was a clicking noise right before we got to eat. We would have reprimanded her but, there was still food so, it wasn’t so bad.

Then… then they went away. For. Four. Days.

When they finally came back, they brought back a monster.

Gator Hunting

We were not amused.

This is NOT the model we ordered. This ‘puppy’ is much larger and LOUD. Very very loud.

So… Julie… we demand an exchange of current model for the little minion we chose.

"Now what?"

This one is obnoxiously happy and too big for our tastes. He’s annoying!

Ignore the fact that our humans like him. We run this house.

Charlie and Omega

See?

Sincerely,
Alpha & Omega

Keep going, Fenris! Someday they will realize how much they need the GSD security system.

Dear Alpha and Omega,

If you do grow opposable thumbs I will be very afraid, very very afraid. I do not happened to the cute little model that you picked out. I sent the cute little model to Carole and she did something to him. She made him get big and fuzzy, and gave him that loud bark. Ma ybe she still has your original model? Maybe you should go and look around her place.

You should be happy with your people. Carole reported that your model was far too docile and sweet that I should send a new model that was wild and crazy. Your people said no.

So please do not grow opposable thumbs and come and visit me!

Oscar and Ms. Kitty tell you to “stay strong and united.”

LOL, Presi, this is the best post ever. Alpha and Omega are two very lucky little kitties to have a puppy like Fenris to boss around!

Thanks, Julie. You tell two cats who are packin’ pistols to come get their original model from me. Thanks. Thanks a lot. Nothin’ like giving some gangsta’ kitties my address.

James and Presi ROCK!!! When James comes home he says, “Kittens assemble” and the cats coming running. James, what do you say now?

Presi, this is an award-winning post! I just LOVE it.
