We are truly moved by your heartfelt showing of love and condolences for the loss of our beloved Ivan. It is an honor to be associated with such an outstanding group of very caring people.
We will always be comforted by the knowledge that Ivan touched so many in his too short life. We loved him so much and know that he loved us. Ivan will forever be a part of us.
Please give your dogs and loved ones an extra special hug from Ivan and us. It is almost too much to comprehend that this will be the last post about Ivan.
Thank you so much for being there when we needed you the most. You are the best.
With deepest thanks and affection.
Jack, Lynda & Dylan
You are welcome Lynda we hope that we are able to give you small measure of comfort.
For days, I have been trying to comment, but I just couldn’t. I was thinking I would wake from a horrible dream…
Seems like I still cannot find words to express how I feel about the loss of this outstanding dog. Ivan was the total dog, agility, obedience, rally, schutzhund. He did it all. I hope Verdae will follow in Ivan footprints and make his big cousin proud – In remembrance of Ivan. Remember Ivan how you want him to remember you. May Ivan stay in your hearts as a happy-go-lucky, big, goofy boy. Run free, big guy. Love you Lynda & Jack!
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….

Lots of love to you from me and Batman. I am thinking of you guys and grieving with you.
Jack and Lynda, please know that we are thinking about you and know the pain you are going through all too well. Our A-T family is something else, isn’t it?
Time somehow has its way of easing our pain, I know you both will heal one day.
Ivan lived and only knew. love because of you, Jack and Dylan. You are an awesome family, an inspiration to all of us.
Ivan will never be forgotten, he will forever live in our hearts and memory.
Hi Lynda and Jack – Scott and I are renting a dog-friendly vacation house this week in Jamestown, across the bridge from Newport. We are thinking about you on this sunny Sunday morning, hoping those beautiful memories of Ivan will be like the sunshine starting to chip away that dark cloud. We, too, lost our beloved Beaumont (I) in a tragic accident when he was just over a year old. We know it can take a long time, but each day gets a little better.
When you’re up to it, bring Dylan and come visit us in the Berkshires. Maybe some of Dylan’s stellar behavior might rub off on Dutch. Whenever you’re ready, we are here for you.
Lynda, you Jack and Dylan are still in my thoughts and prayers. i hope knowing your whole AT family is grieving with you helps you through this time. Know that we will always be here for you when ever you need us.
