Last March we took a vacation road trip that eventually led to the Bahamas Kennel Club International Dog Show and Trial. Along the way we stopped in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to visit with my niece Caroline and her boyfriend Raphael at college. It was so nice and warm!
This year Caroline and Raphael came up to Cape Cod to visit us during their Spring break. Raphael grew up in Brazil and has never seen snow. We have had an incredibly snow free winter but today we had a quick snow storm just for Raphael! We always aim to please our guests.
We took Caroline and Raphael to see the beach and the woods during what Raphael thinks is a blizzard.
Ivan is checking out Raphael’s first snow ball!
It’s now noon and the sun is shining and the snow will be gone soon.
LOL! Ivan and Dylan are such troopers. I love the drama of snow pictures. We hardly got any in DC this year.
It looks like Dylan is on the mend!
Great to see you again guys. I have been remiss in contributing to the blog due to a crazy work schedule (it should slow down in about a week), but I have been checking in regularly.
Your entries are always to entertaining. The composition of your first snow photograph is perfect. Ivan is almost at the same angle as Raphael!
Everyone looks like they are having a good time even if it is colder than normal. Even in a blizzard Dylan and Ivan will pose for photographs!
Lynda,
What a great comparison pictures… now you know why I live in Florida… So much less cloths to worry about. I lived in the snow many moons ago and was happy when I left it behind.
Awesome pictures of all of you… thanks for sharing!
This is so funny Lynda. I love the 2nd and 3rd pictures, such silly dogs you have! 🙂 You know what I am going to miss? I am going to miss the daily Jack and Lynda vacation blog this year. I really enjoyed it last year. It was like going on vacation without the expense.
