Monica is working on the “Family” section of the website and received these pictures from Jil of her Isa from the I-Litter Ricco x Allie, littermate to Ilea and Ivan.
I cannot miss this opportunity to re-share my favorite video of Isa with her buddy Qwiddy:

This video is absolutely amazing to me! Millie and our 14 year old cat, Ezra can’t even stand the sight of each other! This would be quite a miracle in our house!
No, there aren’t any pictures of Ezra, she’s the typical “don’t bother me” cat. I got her when I worked at the Humane Society and it was just the two of us for a long time. She fell in love with Dale when he started coming around, but she took a long time to even look at Amelia when she was born. After we brought Millie home, I think she just thought “forget this!” So, she pretty much stays in the basement and her favorite spot is in a big Rubbermaid tub on top of Dale’s old varsity jacket!
Thanks, Julie–I did a poor job photographing her today; she really looks scrawny in these pictures. 🙁 I will try again soon!
One of the more interesting questions we’ve had about her recently whether she is part wolf. Hmmmm . . . nope!

I love the video of Isa with Qwiddy! One of my cats slept and nursed on my GSD, Diamond, and when Diamond died, the cat would have nothing to do with me. That was 4 years ago! Since Batman went home, Silvi decided to move into bed with me & Kayla. She does not curl up with Kayla yet, but is getting close to it. Man—does that cat ever hold a grudge.
It is too bad that Isa isn’t black & red! 😉 That is Allie through and through!
Great to see pictures of Isa….but what she she doing with DYLAN’S cat??? That Owen sure does get around!
Seriously, what a great video. Qwiddy does look a lot like Owen and seems to have the same temperament.
Julie–I agree with you about the way they look: something that I have noticed about her since she was a tiny puppy is that when I look at Isa is that she is almost always already looking back at me. Rarely do I have to get her attention. It’s like she is waiting for me to tell her the next thing she should do, or the next thing we will be doing together. And the other thing I see every day is that she is just so darned sweet!

It’s funny–I’ve never had a dog and cat who play with and truly enjoy each other. I would like to see a picture of Ezra–are there any on here?

Isa is beautiful! If you show her in the long-coat class they might kick you out and make you go in the stock-haar class.

That is funny, eerie how much Isa and Ivan’s cats look alike….Insert theme from Twilight Zone….
The really strange thing is that we also have a black cat, and Lynda also has a black cat!
Before reading that Isa is Allie’s kid, I knew immediately, again with the eyebrow and eyes. 😉
Jil, Isa is one gorgeous girl.
It is that look…they look at you with this intense look, it is intelligence and eagerness.

Josie–so funny! Since you first noticed the Allie-kid eyebrow thing, I have been looking for it, and you are absolutely right!
Are you sure she is a long coat?
As I understand it, the presence of ear fluff is the determining factor–is that correct? She definitely has ear fluff.
