YES YOU MUST and no tourists this time of year! OK tell the truth is Ivan in the water more then Dylan, less then, or the same? I love the last picture that one needs to framed.
Thank you for the beautiful pictures from a beautiful day!
Actually today Dylan was swimming more than Ivan. Normally Ivan is our “retriever” while Dylan is looking for something dead to eat on the beach!
You are so right about the lack of tourists.
BTW…Go Lions!
Ivan says Raj can come to visit and play on the beach with him!

What a lovely day! How is Dylan’s tooth these days? Looks like it wasn’t bothering him today.
Every dog needs a Wubba. Love the first shot of the Wubba flying through the air and of course the last shot is delightful.
We took Kora and Niro to Kensington Metro Park today. It’s a park similar to the one where NASS was held. You can walk around the lake which is about 8 1/2 miles or you can take the trails through the woods, so we tend to do the latter as it is less populated. Unfortunately Zeta couldn’t make it today as she has come into season.
Hi Andrea,
We did have a super day.
Dylan’s swelling has gone way down but there is still a small lump. It does not seem to be bothering him at all as he is very active and playful right now. He will be off the antibiotics early next week (which he has been on for three weeks) and hopefully the swelling will not return.
Ivan loves his Wubba…and Mr. Bill!
Sounds like you had a nice walk too.

Great shots, Lynda! Your beach at the Cape is really private in January! What’s the water temperature? It doesn’t seem to matter to Ivan. He seems to love retrieving as much as our Lab! Love that last shot of the two buddies together. I can just picture our Lab and W-boy together happily enjoying all the great times ahead. We’ve been wondering about how well GSD’s handle salt water on their coats and skin. From your experience with Ivan, are there any issues we should be aware of? Do you always shampoo afterward, or is rinsing sufficient? Do you blow-dry or just towel dry? Thanks!
The Cape is great in the “off season”! I’m not sure what the water temp was but it sure didn’t bother the “boys”!
We have not had a problem with the salt water bothering the dog’s coats. Yesterday I gave Ivan and Dylan a bath (shampoo) when we got home as I wanted to take advantage of the warm weather, but we mainly just rinse them off with fresh water. (I don’t like to over wash them with shampoo). We had the plumber put a hot water tap outside so we can mix the hot and cold water together so the dogs get a nice warm shower! ….I know, they are spoiled babies!! We towel dry them.
Lynda, Ivan is maturing to be a one fine gsd, I love his self stack pictures, he is perfect.
I am glad that Dylan is feeling better and went swimming too.

Wet dogs are happy dogs!
I just LOVE your trip to the beach photos!
Now Raj is demanding a beach!
