W-Litter Need Names

The W-litter is going to be 6 weeks old tomorrow!  They are too old and I am having a puppy crisis I am not ready to let them go in two weeks!  OK the secret is out at 6 weeks I always panic like this.  I think there is no possible way these babies can leave in a mere two weeks. Further crisis we have no name ideas!  I stand corrected, I have one name idea from Charlene and that is “Wicked.”  But I need more, please give me your suggestions.   We are looking for names that start with W for their registered names, their call name can be anything the owners want.

Thank you in advance!

Update on the W-litter pups.  They are eating kibble straight-up, they are fat and chubby.  For those of you I am always after because your dogs are fat do not take this as permission to have fat dogs!  they can only be fat and chubby for the first three months of their lives. The pups continue to be precocious in their development, they all do their business in their litter and keep their eating, sleeping area clean.  They make several trips outside daily, duration depends on the the outside temperature. They love balls and baby kongs already and they know how to bite toes really, really hard.  Stiff jeans does not inhibit their biting ability.  Dark green boy has a full hard bite already, he is a monster. Pictures soon, I promise.

Included with the purchase of each W litter pup should be a full bite suit for owner safety. 🙂

Thank you so much for the update, Julie! Scott and I will have to bring an experienced cell extraction team with us to pry our puppy out of your arms in 2 wks! It sure would be nice if those of you on the W-puppy list would find a W name that you really liked and used it as your dog’s call name—just saying.

I really like the name “Wodan.” He was an ancient Germanic sky god. Wodan was known as Woden or Wotan to the Saxons and later Odin to the Norse. Wodan was also the god of war.

With the “W” pronounced as a “V” (the German pronunciation), the name has a good strong sound. Nice name for our little heaven-sent devil in disguise!

Whoops! My husband hates it – it reminds him of the “Boden’s,” neighbors from his past that he disliked intensely. Oh well.

I agree with Carole on keeping the name in the W’s as a nood toward the W litter.
Some of these are repeats, sorry

I could ask her. But without new pictures of the W litter puppies, I’m not sure she’ll have much to say.

Yep – I went there. Blackmail! You want a call name to go with ‘Wonderificyourterrific’ then you provide new puppy pictures and no one will get hurt. 🙂

Boy you have a LOT of names for 6 puppies!
By the time Jack and I got on line most of the names we thought of were already listed.

The only one missing is our favorite New England Patriots player, Wes Welker!

Attention “W” litter puppy owners and Carole…

He would be Alta-Tollhaus Wes Welker, call name either Wes or Welker!!

Are you kidding??? I love it! It’s a nod to the W-litter, and a nod to our favorite football team’s outstanding player! Wes Welker also has a German ring to it that really fits a GSD name. It would be an honor to have that name in the registration, and it’s an easy call name: “Wes! – FASS!”

Note the Welker family name history:

    Origins available: Dutch, German

So, it’s also Dutch, our puppy’s name – love that coincidence!
