If we get the needed 25,000 signatures there (by the end of November), perhaps the Obama Administration (and the FDA and AAFCO) will listen. This has to change. Pets are eating foods that contain deplorable ingredients; Petsumer’s are unknowingly spending billions of dollars on little more than recycled garbage. At the very least, just as cigarettes were long ago required to include a warning label – so should many pet foods and pet treats.” You can also read the significance of this petition on that page. You will be shocked at what the FDA gets away with! “Despite Federal law, the FDA provides the pet food/animal food industry with loopholes to violate The Act; these loopholes are known officially as Compliance Policies.”
