Grand-Aunt Funny, helping out with maternal duties. I feel asleep on the floor with Funny and the puppies and woke up to the pups nursing on Funny. No she doesn’t have milk but she was cleaning them and letting them suckle, more like smacking…which is actually what woke me up. OK did I get the “Grand -Aunt” part right, the T litter’s grandfather is Funny’s litter brother? Funny is 11years old.
Ummm I need a pen and paper to track that down that far. Funny is such an awesome girl!
We had a chance to snuggle those beautiful puppies on Sunday-finally had a chance to get a puppy fix. They are certainly great babies-they had their first solid meal while we were there, I wish everyone could hear those little smacking mouths. Soooo cute! Funny was helping with the little ones and as everyone knows, that has had the good fortune to meet Funny, she is such a sweet dog. We could all have used that type of help when raising our own children! The storm hit while we were at Julie’s-thank you Michelle for saving Gryph from the torrential downpour.
Jean loved the smacking noise they were making she had me video record it. When I have electricity back I will upload the video.
I met Funny and Maika when we were there, they are both so sweet! Funny’s expression on that second pic is priceless, very loving granny.
One of those girls was in your husband’s lap, Maika I think.
That’s right!! He loved Maika for sure!
I love the expression on the second photograph too. You caught that just right Julie.
Funny is a wonderful Nanny—at least she doesn’t fall asleep while on the job.
