After the show we drove south and tonight we are staying in Historic Charleston, SC.
Excellent! “Ivan, I’m so proud of you!” –Love, your sister, Isa
Thanks Isa.
I hope you are well. Get your Mom to post a recent picture of you soon….
Love,
Ivan
Lynda, great job! He looks like he is enjoying laying in the grass. Were there any other A-T dogs there? Does Dylan feel left out?
Ivan had a great time. No, there were no other AT dogs at this show.
Dylan does not mind being semi-retired as long as he still gets lots of cookies and to go on the fun walks!!
Congratulations on the much-deserved win! That is a very nice trophy. What a fun road trip you are all having.
Margot is right! Awesome trophy!!!
Thanks Margot. We are having fun as you can tell. The trophy is BIG!
Congratulations Ivan!!! We knew you could do it! He takes everything in his stride, doesn’t he? I love the last shot – you both look so proud and well you should be.
Keep enjoying your road trip – looking forward to more updates.
I am looking forward to the travel updates also. After today I can not imagine what surprises you have in store for us!
Lynda, just taking a closer look – the man in the white t-shirt looks very similar to the German handler of Heike at NASS 2010. Is this just my imagination or is it the same person?
I think you may be right, Andrea. It’s Benny, and was he awesome! 🙂
Andrea, you have a great eye, that is Benny and one of the top handlers from Germany. He is a very good handler, but on this day, Ivan’s handler was better. 🙂
Jack said that the handler looked familiar and he told me he thought it was the same person who handled Heike, but we never had a chance to speak with him.
CONGRATULATIONS YOU GUYS! Ivan is in the spotlight, where he should be! Julie and I were at a UKC show today where she got a missed call from Lynda.. She listened to the voice mail and screamed! The whole show stopped and looked! It was a quite deserving win and I hope to you see at NASS 2011!
Thanks Monica. I laughed when Julie told me she screamed and the whole show stopped to look at her!
We hope to go to NASS and see you again too.
CONGRATULATIONS JACK LYNDA and IVAN!!!!SUPER JOB!!! Woooo Wooooo!!!!
Well….Julie did tell you to go have fun. I’d say that SG1 would be considered having FUN!
Congratulations, Lynda, Jack, Ivan, and proud supporter, Dylan! The Dark Horse strikes again!!!
WOOHOOOOOO!!! What an awesome weekend for you guys! Very proud of you two!
Thanks for your comments everyone. It was a GREAT day!! I will answer your comments and make comments on other posts sometime soon but now we are rushing off to sightsee in Charleston and then on the road to……??? Jack says no time to play on the computer!!!
More soon,
Lynda
I have only been to Charleston once..and what I remember most is how dog friendly the city is, second the food, then the humidity.
Julie, humidity and sun vs snow and cold. I could live w/a bit of that reight now. You are home during the day—Puppy watch????
getting closer but technically Allie still has a week to go. She is huge…and very uncomfortable.
Yes, we found Charleston very dog friendly too. We walked all over with the dogs. We didn’t use it but they have a dog park right downtown near the water.
