I was just thinking of all the nicknames we have for pets–mostly goofy nicknames! What do you guys call your pets? I’ll admit:
Cats: Chica–“Chica Pet” (Chia Pet reference)
Qwiddy–mostly just “a girl” lately, because of the way he screeches like a girl when he and Isa are playing. Also called “Clockwork” at night, because every night when it’s Lathan’s bedtime, Qwiddy appears on his bed–like clockwork.
Dog: Isa–“Puppy Girl,” “Isa Pet,” “Isa Marie . . . Presley” (my middle name is Marie), and my personal favorite, which is my husband’s name for her: “Nuffy NooNoo.” He will be SO embarrassed that I have told you that!!! heeheeee Maybe I will tell him the name of the blog has been changed!
Jazz is our cat= Jazzi, Jazzi Boy, my niece calls him Rishard no idea why.
Abby= Abigail, Ab-E-gail, my sister calls her The B—- because when I was sick she got out and I couldn’t chase her, so she ran my sister around the house 4 times and would come up on the porch and wait by the door until she would get just about to the top step and Abby would run down the other side and around they would go again. But she still loves her.
Kiara= Mouth of the south,
Sabree= Sabree girl, Sabree Rae (my middle name) this is when she is in trouble or Naughtiness.
And a few others that may slip out from time to time, but this is a family blog, so I will omit those.
We had a Westie named champ we called him wrinkle butt, because when he sat down, he would have 3 wrinkles or rolls above his tail.
We had a chow named Sadie we called her peanut butter no idea why or Red she was a Cinnamon color.
Charlie- Chuck, chuckiebear, Charles, Chuckles. I only call him Charles when he is in trouble.
Wally- Wallynoodle, noodle, Wallydoodle, Walter. I came up with noodle because he goes limp when you pick him up. I call him Walter when he is in trouble.
When they are being cute I usually call them sweet cheeks, sweet potato, cutie, etc….
Roman= Romanoff, Fuzzybuddy, Crazy, Puppy. Rita calls him by his full name: Roman Schwimer or “you big German Shepherd.”
Penseur: Unit, Pensie, Turdburglar (she ate poop as a puppy once).
Pascal: Pasc, Pasckie, Fattie, Pascalrascal.
Shibas together: Shibazinu, Sheebie-pleebots.

Beckham – he doesn’t really have a nickname

Qwiddy (cat): Qwidward, (a Squidward reference, from SpongeBob SquarePants) Qwiddlestork, Lard A** (he may be a pound or two overweight)
Fooey (cat): Foodles, Foodley Streudly, assorted censored nicknames when he steals our food as soon as we turn our backs, or drags pizza boxes off the counter with pizza still in them, or the best one: the time he looked like he had a handlebar moustache because he booked out of the kitchen with a whole bratwurst in his mouth
Isa– Eesie, Puppy Sister (that one’s from my daughter, Karoline), Isa Mujeres, Chichen Isa
Chica (cat) and Isa– this is a combo nickname: Chica Isa
Wow, you guys have some awesome nicknames! I like Nuffy NooNoo, Fuzzy-Buddy, Turdburglar, and of course Nicky-noodle. Mine are a little boring, I guess because I am lucky I just remember their names. When the girls are in trouble they all get Marie added to their name…don’t know why…have done that for the last 30 years.
Allie: Girlie (she loves that name) Allie-girl, allie-gator, allie-mcbeal, allie cat
Maika’s favorite nickname is Mikey
Kira likes when I say her name the German way with the short i and rolling the r
Kelsey: Kels, Kelsey Girl
Dylan: Dil Pickle, DB (Dylan Burns!), Silly Dilly, Mommy’s Boy!, Schmoozie
Ivan: Ivan the Terrorist (no explanation needed!), Flannel Feet
Owen (cat): O Man
Lamont (cat): The Shadow, Lamont Cranston Jr., La Monster
