Ah… The Love of Water
Well, I am officially on summer vacation now and I have no idea what to do with myself. Other than taking one grad class and going to Europe in a few weeks with Joe, I have no huge plans as of yet. I plan on having a really clean house, and training with Schumi. It’s a bit pathetic!
Since it’s been pretty warm lately, I’ve been getting the kiddie pool out for Schumi, only to discover that he does not care about it and will paddle all of the water out that I spent 10 minutes putting in. He loves the hose though, so I just take that out now and he runs around the backyard chasing/drinking the water and is completely pooped when he’s done. Works for me!
I took all of these pictures with my small digital, so they aren’t the greatest! I still think they are cute though!
This picture below I had to put in, although it’s unrelated to the ones above. Joe put granite underneath the rocks in Schumi’s kennel so that he couldn’t dig himself out, and he has discovered the exact small spots where there isn’t any. He’ll dig for a few minutes, and then he’s done!
Great pictures Becky! These are so much fun. You really captured Schumi’s expression, you can look in those eyes and see the intelligence and you can see what a character he is! I especially like this last picture because that is his Mother’s expression/eyes. The kind of look that just speaks volumes to you. People think I am a wacky dog lady when I tell them that funny can communicate with me just be looking at me. Nick confirmed it the other day after spending a few hours with her assisting her as she whelped her XBox puppies.
OMG Becky I’m laughing out loud. So I guess using a squirt bottle on Schumi for being rude to the cat would NOT work for discipline, lol.

Enjoy your summer vacation and holiday across the pond. We too will be cleaning, painting the living room and kitchen AND the garage MUST be dealt with. Oh yea, and Rudi will probably take up most of our time. Can you believe it’s been almost a year since we’ve had our little darlings? Life will never be the same. Thanks for such fun photos! JH 🙂
We got a pool for Roman, but he likes the hose much better. He chewed a hole in the pool after 10 minutes. Great pics!
