Christmas comes early as Allie delivers 9 beautiful puppies. The final count is 3 girls and 6 boys. There was 2 different weights for the puppies, the boys were 1.5 pounds with one exception being 1.25 pounds; all the girls weighed in at 1.25 pounds. Very consistent litter. The pups look like those big-bellied booda toys….fat. I can’t say the same for Allie, all of her resources went to these puppies. The pups are very vocal when displeased, feisty, and quite vigorous. As expected, Allie is a great mother. Funny thinks she should be supervising. I am looking forward to getting some sleep. Brittany is spending the night and sleeping with Allie and the pups to make sure their first night goes smoothly since Allie also needs a good night sleep.
Yay! The puppies are beautiful of course and Allie looks like such a good Mom. And Brittany, you are just as adorable as them! I love the pictures where she is laying with Allie and the puppies. I wish I would have stayed for the sleepover!
Congratulations on the puppies!!! They are such cuties!!! Wonderful pictures as always!!
HA! I was right on the number of girls but off by 2 on the males. So close….

That one is so sweet! Looks like she’s a natural at the mother thing.
Are you certain that these are newborns?!!
Great job Allie & Gorbi!
Bottom center photo—you know how pups ears are usually stuck close to the head for awhile…what’s up with this guy? His ears are already out! I guarantee that no one will EVER call these pups “pinheads”.
Congratulations Julie—what a great Christmas gift! You are very blessed to have Kelly & Brittany close by. I know you and Allie can both get some well-deserved rest with the pups under Brittany’s watchful eye.
wow I am soooo pleased for you , mum and babies are beautiful!!!!
Wow, This is awesome!!! I am so glad everything went well. I cant wait to see them.
Yay Allie! You go Girl! I don’t know much about birthing puppies, but isn’t 1.25-1.5# fairly large?? And are they always born with so much black rather than the traditional markings?
They’re beautiful–even if they do look like big-bellied booda toys =]
So Julie, what does it feel like seeing your baby girl become a Momma?
Congrats to Julie, Allie and the new families of these beautiful pups.
Oh! How adorable! I’m glad to hear that you didn’t have any problems with this litter! 11 puppies total! What else do you need for Christmas, really??
Absolutely breathtakingly wonderful pix of mom and pups and sweet Brittany, too! Congratulations to all!
Allie is the bomb, she is a fantastic mother. I am especially grateful to Brittany as she has slept with Allie and the puppies their first two nights allowing me to sleep in my own bed and catch up on lost sleep.
Thank you Brittany!
Congratulations on the babies! They are adorable, and now you need to rest up for after New Year’s, when they will be ready to start running. End of January should be an exciting time–especially if Aunt Rosie decides they all need tennis balls.
Wow, they are just adorable! No surprise there, of course, but awwwww……I remember seeing pictures of Pieka’s litter at that age!
