Please sign this petition spearheaded by Susan Thixton and help our dogs, cats and other animals! “Our petition to put an end to illegal FDA Compliance Policies allowing pet food and animal food ingredients to be sourced from euthanized animals, diseased animals, and other filthy, putrid sources has been placed on If we get the needed 25,000 signatures there (by the end of November), perhaps the Obama Administration (and the FDA and AAFCO) will listen. This has to change. Pets are eating foods that contain deplorable ingredients; Petsumer’s are unknowingly spending billions of dollars on little more than recycled garbage. At the very least, just as cigarettes were long ago required to include a warning label – so should many pet foods and pet treats.” You can also read the significance of this petition on that page. It was too long to post on the blog. You will be shocked at what the FDA gets away with! “Despite Federal law, the FDA provides the pet food/animal food industry with loopholes to violate The Act; these loopholes are known officially as Compliance Policies.”
This is SO IMPORTANT! Please email, FaceBook or Tweet everyone you know who loves animals. Provide the site above and ask them to sign it and, in turn, contact their friends with the site.
Our dog’s health depends on it and WE are the only ones who can change it! Thank you for taking the time! 🙂

Yes, good idea but I couldn’t get it to go through. Maybe someone else can try it and have better luck than me.
