An Aiden and O’Connor update

The weekend of December 7 – 9 Aiden was entered in the Yankee Golden Retriever Agility Trial in Amherst NH.
On Thursday December 6th we met Mario for IPO training. Both boys did really well in all three phases.

A walk at Bell’s Neck Conservation area in Harwich on Christmas Day

It has been our tradition for many years to spend our wedding anniversary on December 28th in New Hampshire at the 3 day Bearded Collie Club of America Agility trial. On Friday Aiden gave us a great Anniversary present…a Triple Q !!
After the trial on Saturday we went for a lovely walk with Aiden and Connor at the Joe English Reservation area at the Peabody Mill Environmental Center in Amherst. The boys had a great time running in the woods and splashing in the stream!

Overall Aiden qualified in 7 out of 11 runs with five 1st places, a 2nd and a 4th place and earned his Time to Beat Preferred (T2BP) Title. Not a bad way to end the year! It was a fun weekend, doing what Aiden and I both love…playing agility! Jack and Connor had a good time too!

A Double Q Weekend for Ziva!

A Double Q Weekend for Ziva!

Now that Ziva & I are getting back to the game after 5 months off for my illness, I entered her in the Flat Coat Retriever Agility Trial. What a great return to the game! Double Q’s and placements on Saturday and Sunday, an Open FAST leg and a Masters Standard Bronze title! What a good girl!

Saturdays JWW course-if only I could learn to keep my arm down when I run.  It really slows her down :(
