Tonight was the Cape Cod Kennel Club’s Annual Awards Banquet. Members are recognized for any titles their dogs earned during the year. Each year the KC holds the banquet at a different location throughout the Cape. This year the event was held at the Dennis Pines Country Club. We had a wonderful meal followed by the annual meeting, the awards presentation and finally a fun raffle.
Jack are I are in charge of coordinating the ordering and awarding of the new plaques and dangles. After reading letters and e-mails submitted by members it’s impressive to realize the amount of love and work that is being put into these dogs. This year 24 member’s dogs earned new titles in a wide variety of venues.
In 2017 Aiden earned his Master Agility Excellent (MX), Master Excellent Jumpers with Weaves (MXJ) and Master Excellent FAST (MXF) Titles. In September we made the decision to move Aiden into the Preferred Agility height classes. In Preferred Aiden earned his Master Agility Excellent Preferred (MXP) Title. Along the way Aiden also earned his Trick Dog Novice (TKN), Trick Dog Intermediate (TKI) and Farm Dog Certified (FDC) Titles.
