Wednesday was a day with no entered classes, so we decided to try something new. Ziva loves to swim and we have never tried dock diving, so we gave it a shot. We were able to do a try-it to see if she would go in the pool, that seemed to work ok, so I entered her in the splashes and she ended the day with two qualifying jumps.
Thursday was Libby’s day, she was entered in Rally. She earned her 1st RAE leg with very nice scores of 97 for 5th place in Advanced B and 98 for 3rd place in Excellent B. Such a good girl!
Thursday afternoon, it was back to try more dock diving. 5 qualifying jumps are needed to title and with Lynda’s help holding Ziva , she earned her final legs for her Dock Novice title!
Thursday night Barb was arriving from Florida to help celebrate Ziva’s GSDCA Performance Award of Merit achievement. More importantly, as far as Libby was concerned, she was there to see her since Barb’s Syd and Libby basically grew up together on this blog and both have such LARGE personalities and as everyone knows Libby is the QUEEN after all 🙂
Yeah for girl power! I’m dying to try dock diving. They are AT dogs, I’m sure Blake and Ginger would love it.
maybe we will be seeing you at some tracking events-you seem to have a lot more out your way than we do. I think they have a few dock diving trials in your neck of the woods
Your girls (and you!) rocked at the National!
Congratulations
