Jack, my mother and I had our Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday evening. In the afternoon on Thanksgiving Day Jack and I took Aiden out to Springfield, MA (Dylan stayed with his Gran). We went to the Eastern States Exposition Center and set up Aiden’s crate and our chairs for the Thanksgiving Cluster Agility Trial which started on Friday. Then we had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner at the Storrowton Tavern before heading to our hotel.
This morning we were up bright and early and headed to the trial.
In the Premier Agility Class Aiden qualified and placed 2nd in his hardest course of the day! There were several “backside” jumps and “threadles”
In Masters Standard Aiden had a fantastic run for the first half of the course but crashed into the wing of a jump when I called him too soon to prevent an off course tunnel. He also knocked the panel jump.
In Masters Jumpers Aiden knocked a bar. He also had a refusal when I did a rear cross before he committed to the jump…but I don’t think that would have happened if I had not “let down” after the knocked bar!
