This past weekend Viktor being handled by Fred earned his B H Title
We had trained super hard for this and Viktor is even recovering from a soft tissue injury
So we are more than proud.
For those who are not familiar with Schutzhund training, passing the BH requires a lot of disciplined obedience with heeling both on and off leash, out of motion commands, a recall, a long down all under the distraction of another dog on the field. Prior to the dog taking the field the handler is required to take a written test. After the obedience part, the dog is subjected to a traffic testing, which involves a bicyclist, a jogger , a vehicle riding along side, and a group of people approaching both you and the dog. The very end of the testing was a tie out of your dog, while you are from their sight and an indifferent dog is walked near your dog to test their temperament
