I am so excited to report that Ziva, aka Z-Evil One, my NOVICE A dog, has attained the requirements for the German Shepherd Dog Club of America Performance Award of Merit (PAM). The GSDCA presents this award in recognition of those dogs that are competing in multiple performance venues, demonstrating the incredible versatility and intelligence of the German Shepherd Dog. To be eligible for this award a dog must have completed titles in three (3) different performance areas; Obedience or Rally, Herding, Agility, Tracking, or GSDCA-WDA Working Dog events. One of these titles must be from the most advanced level of training. All PAM award recipients are recognized annually in October in the GSDCA Review as well as being eligible to be presented in the parade of greats at the nationals. The GSDCA also provides a plaque for PAM recipients listing all titles earned to the date of the application
Ziva earned her Tracking Dog Excellent title (TDX) and Companion Dog title (CD) in 2015 and her Agility Course Title (ACT) in 2016. Additionally Ziva also has her Rally Excellent title (RE), Beginner Novice title (BN), passed the Herding Instinct Test (HIT) and has 1 Herding Tested Sheep (HT) leg. She is also a Canine Good Citizen (CGC). Ziva is enthusiastically preparing for her Variable Surface Tracking (VST) test, with hopes of earning her Champion Tracker Title (CT), by having passed all 3 tracking test levels (TD, TDX & VST). Her work ethic, devotion and desire to do whatever I ask of her inspires me to do more and makes me honored to be her partner.
