Yesterday, Saturday April 3rd, we were back in Westborough, MA for one day of the Colonial Shetland Sheepdog Agility Trial. This is the last agility trial for Aiden until mid May
In Masters FAST there was a very unusual Send Bonus. The handler had to stay behind the line for the first two obstacles then cross to the opposite side of the line to send the dog to the third obstacle. Alta-Tollhaus Aiden qualified in Masters FAST with 1st place for his 6th Masters FAST Leg.
The next class was Masters Standard. Aiden took an off course jump at the triple and then when he was supposed to take the triple jump he ran by it. He had fun and sure is enthusiastic!! I got a lot of comments when I came out of the ring from people who said Aiden is such a happy dog!
In Excellent JWW Aiden was very bad on the start line….I know I should have pulled him off the course but, oh well, I was very bad and let him continue!! Despite his start line he was managing to have a clean run until the weaves poles where he popped out. He has never done that before. The rest of the run was clean.
Congratulations on the MF leg. How many pairs of running shoes do you go thru in a year!
