Libby finished her rally title with a score of 98 for a second place with 27 dogs in the class. She was very distracted on the 1st part of the course by someone playing with a squeaky toy with their dog by ringside. With all 3 scores over 90 she will qualify for the Rally nationals next year! As usual, she was a great GSD ambassador, ignoring the snarky dogs, happily making new friends and exuberantly greeting old friends. The judge on day 2 was so funny, she gave exhibitors their score and the dogs score at the end of your run. She announced to us “you got a 98, your dog got a 100”. Mom still has the foot shuffle thing going on after all this time. Obviously Libby needs a more competent handler! When we received the title ribbon, the judge said (to Libby) “you are such a nice girl” & she responded with her ear scrunched down thing and head duck smile. She is such a ham! Love this dog to pieces!
Congratulations Libby and Lisa!! That is so exciting! I wish I could watch you sometime. I’m starting Joker in Novice Rally AKC and Rally 1 UKC next month and am thinking about starting Ember in Novice Rally AKC, Rally 2 UKC. I’m really enjoying rally and it looks like you are, too! Great job!
AND I hope you enter the Rally National! Congratulations on your new title.
Come down to me and I will help you with your foot work. I’ll order some mini-shock ankle bracelets. After one or two foot shuffles and a couple of good zaps, I’m sure I can fix your problem. Barb will be my assistant so that we can closely monitor your foot work. 🙂
