We are very pleased and excited to announce that when Aiden earned his Agility Excellent Title (AX) on November 21, 2015 he met the requirements for the GSDCA Performance Award of Merit (PAM). This award is given in recognition to those dogs who are competing in multiple performance events, showing the incredible versatility and intelligence of the German Shepherd Dog.
To be eligible for this award a dog must have completed titles in three (3) different performance areas; Obedience or Rally, Herding, Agility, Tracking, or GSDCA-WDA Working Dog events. One of these titles must be from the most advanced level of training. Aiden has earned his Agility Excellent Title, IPO-2 and Companion Dog Excellent Title.
Aiden also has titles in Rally and has passed the Herding Instinct Test and the GSDCA Temperament Test. He has passed the Canine Good Citizen Test and the Therapy Dog International Test.
In Conformation Aiden has a V (Excellent) rating from the Working Class at the New England Regional Conformation Show. He has also earned his United Kennel Club (UKC) Championship.
The deadline for applications for the Performance Award of Merit is in July each year. The award is recognized in the GSDCA Review annually in October. We have corresponded with the PAM chairperson of the GSDCA and she feels that we should wait until July to submit Aiden’s application as the GSDCA provides a plaque for PAM recipients listing all titles earned to the date of the application.
At 3 years, 8 months old Aiden is;
V, U-Ch Alta-Tollhaus Aiden IPO-2, CDX, RE, AX, XF, NAJ, OAP, OJP, NFP, HT, TC, TDI, CGC
Congratulations! Hopefully Ziva will have gotten her final PT leg or her NAP and she and Aiden will both have their PAM award in July together. Now if she can only stop stepping on broken beer bottles long enough to get back to work 🙂
Congratulations! I knew he had accomplished a lot, but seeing it all written out — I am just amazed! I love reading about Aiden and Dylan and I love your pictures!
What a team you are!
Congratulations to Lynda, Jack and Aiden! Guess you’ll be headed to next year’s National! 🙂
Lisa, that is a great goal – get busy! It would be wonderful to see two A-T dogs collect this prestigious award at one event.
Looks like after this weekend 2 AT dogs will be collecting their PAM awards in 2016 🙂
Carole, you and Aiden are superstars!
Your achievements are quite impressive and you make a wonderful team!! And as a beginner, I love watching Aiden’s videos so I can figure out how all these events work!
