Happy Birthday from the Blonder pack, too, Julie!
Great pictures, Lynda! That can’t possibly be a recent picture of Dylan, is it? Where’s the gray??? I love the massive stacks of recycled papers behind him. It reminds me of why they love all their outdoor trips so much. I was told years ago that because they have 300 million olfactory receptors in their noses, compared to about six million in us, when we take them out, the olfactory stimulation they enjoy is like the pleasure we enjoy while reading the newspaper. So, just think about that pile of papers behind Dylan – the scents his nose can “read” would be equivalent to us reading that enormous mountain of newspapers!
Beverly,
The picture of my handsome Dylan was taken on Thursday…just two days ago!! He still has very little gray for a ten year old Labrador.
On Wednesday we posted about Aiden going to the beach. On Thursday I posted this on my Facebook….
Dylan says “So…Aiden gets taken to the beach yesterday and I get taken to the dump/recycling center today??? Hummm, What’s wrong with this picture??”
Actually it was too hot and too long of a walk for Dylan yesterday so he had a shorter walk at home before we went to the beach. Early this morning it was cooler and less humid so Dylan came for the ride to take the trash and do the recycling. He loves seeing everyone at the transfer station! We did not recycle Dylan!!

Look how cute the boys are wishing “grandma” a happy birthday!
I think Aiden is saying, “Happy Birthday. I wish you were here to throw my wubba for me!”
