Three years ago today the blue collar boy from the “A” Litter (BSZS V10 Ypsilon vom Lärchenhain SchH3 x V Maikali vom Kirschental SchH2) became Alta-Tollhaus Aiden.

Thank you Julie for such a wonderful addition to our family.
Happy Birthday to Aiden, Ava, and the rest of the wonderful A-Kids!
Hi Carole,
I think you missed seeing the “A” Birthday post on April 20th (https://24kgsd.com/blog/2015/04/20/happy-3rd-birthday-to-the-as/).
In June 2012 we drove out to Michigan with Dylan and arrived at Julie’s on June 15th. We spent time with the pups and helped transport them to the vet for their health check up.
On June 16th we, with Julie’s help, decided that the little blue boy was the right pup for us! We went to lunch with several A-T friends and picked up our new pup, now named Aiden, very early the next morning and headed home.
Happy Gotchya Day, Aiden!! How quickly the times goes, wow … Hope you had a fun day!
3 years…………..how time flys by. Aiden has accomplished so much in the short 3 years. It’s exhausting to me! LOL
I’m curious, what did you see in him….that helped you decide “He” was the “one”?

Hi Terri,
When we went to Julie’s we spent some time with the litter and we did our own version of a temperament test to determine the level of confidence and drive in each pup. We already felt that intelligence and good temperament were a given with Julie’s puppies but we were looking for a pup with a lot of drive for performance events.
After we did our evaluation we had the opportunity to the read notes Julie had made during Gustavo’s evaluation of the pups and they matched up with what we thought.
We then had further discussions with Julie as to the right pup for us and we came home with “blue collar boy” Aiden!
A funny little side note…when I first saw Julie’s pictures of the pups at 3 days old I was smitten with “blue collar boy” !!
Happy Birthday, Aiden, from one “blue collar boy” to another! I can’t believe how quickly the time flies. Aiden’s made so many accomplishments already. What a beautiful, smart, athletic wonder-dog you have raised and trained. We all love seeing him in action – thanks for sharing!
Wow where does the time go. It seems like last year I was pickingup Ziva and you and Jack were there looking at the A litter. Hard to believe it has been 3 years already.
