Today was another long day at the South Show Kennel Club Trial. We started again with Rally Excellent B.
19 dogs competed, 4 dogs got a perfect score of 100. Aiden was 1 of those 4!
He finished in 3rd place for his Rally Excellent Title (RE).
The Rally Excellent qualifiers

Huge congratulations! I know that feeling when your number is called…… 🙂 I’m happy for your success. Keep up your good training.

Congratulations Lynda and Jack! Finishing the CD with a first place…wooo wool!!! Again the only GSD in the ring, thank you for being the token GSD and presenting the breed so well!
Wow, that is a lot of letters to remember before and after his name. Huge congrats!!
I agree, how do you keep track of all of them? I have to write Ember’s down and refer to it if I want to put all her letters down, not that she has very many yet. 🙂
Congratulations Aiden and Lynda!
Congrats!. Nice to see Jack on the other end of the camera.
You and Aiden are rock stars! Seriously, what a great weekend. People who have never been to these trials sometimes don’t understand – it’s harder than it looks. You two make it look easy! GREAT job!
Thanks Jaime.
I agree that people who have not been to the trials don’t understand how difficult it can be. I show the videos to some people I work with and they think their dog could just go out there and do it…..they don’t know about all the noise and distractions…and the handlers nerves etc at a trial.
On one of the days during the sit stay someone’s phone started ringing and then they dropped it on the floor and caused quite a commotion.
Of course worse for me was one of the trial days when the dogs were all in the down stay. All of a sudden I could see Aiden’s head start to move and he was intently watching a bug moving about a foot in front of him. Thank goodness the judge said “return to your dogs” at about that time. If the bug had gone behind Aiden he may have decided to get up and follow it!!
I can just see that! I’m pretty sure that I almost passed out at one trial with Whiskey…..I tried to hold my breath through the down stay. 🙂
