This was a Novice title in CDSP (Companion Dog Sports Program). Everybody should try it. Each level combines exercises from other venue (e.g., Novice has on-lead heeling, off-lead figure 8, recall over the bar jump, sit or down while handler walks around the ring; Open has a half-length go-out, running broad jump; Utility has back-to-back glove exercise). Handlers can praise the dogs while working and treat at the end of an exercise. This helps to get the dogs excited about obedience again.
Raj came home with his title and also that lovely yellow “new title” ribbon. More important, he had a great time.
Raj, Alta-Tollhaus Octavian, is fromt he O-litter Xbox x Allie
Congratulations Ann and Raj.
We always love to see pictures of Raj. We have a special place in our hearts for Allie sons.

CDSP….sounds like fun….you would need to train for a bit of everything. 🙂
Raj….is quite a handsome boy. 🙂 His expression looks like “Ok…what’s next!”

Congratulations. Nice to see Raj again. Blue is definitely his color! I recognize the Allie expression since I have a version of it looking at me every day. I must admit I was hoping for at least one story of Raj and his antics. He is such a character. Is CDSP part of AKC?
I love the CDSP venue! It’s a welcoming venue with interesting exercises. I’ve found the people to be friendly and the judges to be invested in the dogs’ success. It is not part of AKC, but is a separate entity altogether. Great job at this trial – it’s obvious that you had some great runs! I hope to complete Pieka’s CDX-C in November.
