Pieka, Louie, and Whiskey would like to wish the other B-Litter (Kira x Markos) kids a very happy birthday! It’s hard to believe that this litter is six years old – the time does fly. In our house, we do a “shared birthday” because Whiskey’s birthday is Sept 6, Pieka is Sept 7, and Louie’s is…..well, we don’t know. 🙂 This is a pretty momentous year for us. Whiskey is 16 years old this year! Thankfully, he is still doing really well. He’s active, has a shiny coat, demands dinner, and can still kill a stuffy. Pieka, of course, is as gorgeous, silly, and clever as always. Everyone got new toys and some goodies to celebrate.

Happy Birthday Pieka, Louie, and Whiskey! Very smart idea to do the birthday’s all at once, no one gets jealous. Whiskey…wow…16 years old. That is super and you do not look a day over 8!

Thanks, Julie! In all fairness – Pieka got a bath/blow out on Saturday, so she was looking “Extra Fabulous.” Whiskey has given us a few scares this year, but right now he looks great. He’s showing his age a bit – he’s mostly deaf, doesn’t see too well at night, and is pretty stiff in his back/rear end. He can’t jump on the couch anymore, but can do stairs easily and will BOUND into the kitchen for breakfast. He can also give Pieka “the business” when she needs reminded of her place. LOL! Here are to many more happy years with my sweet, naughty, old guy.
