Our big strong beautiful boy never wants the fun to end. Even when we think he must be exhausted, he drops the Chuck-it in front of us and begs for more! He loves swimming out to retrieve his “prey,” even ignoring the ducks as he swims past them. He’ll glance over to look at them, but swims on to grab his prize. They know he’s no threat, and just “honk” as he swims by!
Life is good for Dutch! I love the one of him shaking.
What a great place to live for that handsome boy!
It’s our family’s lake cottage, but Dutch does spend lots of time there with everyone. He LOVES going out in the boat, too!
Where is this?
Looks like a great place for a swim—and NO gators!
Looks like fun Dutch!!
Ziva would love to come visit Uncle Dutch!!!! She would have to bring sister Libby of course with her hot pink life jacket. She will teach him about sneaking around the ducks-she is sure one day she will get one.
That would be so much fun!!! Those life jackets are very important. I worry about inebriated boaters who may race by and not see our darlings swimming offshore. The vests keep them higher and more visible with those bright colors. She must look very cute in that hot pink jacket!
So, what do you think they would do if they were all sitting there together and we threw the chuckit into the lake? Would they all dive in at the same time and swim after it? Would they dunk each other trying to get the chuckit? What do Ziva and Libby do?
Ziva would charge into the lake with Dutch in mad pursuit of the chuckit. Dutch would have to be pretty quick to beat Z-Evil one to the toy. If he did get it first she would swim back in with him and wait for the next toss. Libby would patiently wait on shore and commandeer it from whoever brought it back-it is the Queen’s right :).
