An email from Karen B. who owns Hailey from the T-litter, Hero x Bailey:
I wanted to send a couple pictures of Hailey. I haven’t done any agility since my shoulder surgery last fall. Then I saw that Cheryl Carlson was offering a Nosework class – so I took Hailey to that. I loved the class – Cheryl is a great instructor – with so much knowledge in scent work. I Highly recommend her Nosework training. When the class (6 sessions) ended, Cheryl convinced me to enter Hailey in the K-9 Fanciers United Nosework Trial held in June (4 trials in 2 days). Hailey did great. She passed her PT 1 and PT 2. Then she got 4 titles (I’m not even sure what the “Letters” are) She passed two times for the Individual Element Novice and both times for the Advanced Containers ( Birch & Anise) and then she qualified for both Interior Trials of Birch and Anise. She took High in Trial on the 2nd trial – Anise Containers. She also got a 2nd place in one the Birch Interiors searches too. Not bad for a dog that only had 6 weeks of Nosework training! (Thank you Cheryl for the excellent training and convincing me to enter the trial – and Thank you Julie for Hailey!) I was so proud of her.
Four titles after six weeks of training is Excellent work. High In Trial is Outstanding!! Super, super work. Congratulations!
Great job. Congratulations. Nice to see Hailey again. The Bailey kids must like to use their noses. 1/2 sister Ziva (Bailey x Gavin) is an excellent tracker. If her mom could get away from her other responsibilities she would be trying for her TDX in the fall.
Wow. That is fantastic. All those titles after only 6 weeks of training is super.
Great pictures with Hailey big High in Trial ribbon!
