I competed at the UKC Premier this weekend with Ember in conformation. She won Best of Altered Winners yesterday and Best of Altered Breed and Second Place in Altered Herding Group today. With these two wins with competition, she finished her Champion title this weekend. Although she was very tired and bored by the time the group judging took place, she behaved very well in the ring. The judge loved her rich pigment and her “moderate angulation in the rear end (especially compared to the nonaltered GSD’s)”. She said that Ember was a very nice dog. Cabrera came to cheer Ember on. I did lure coursing with both of them yesterday and Ember today, and although they did great the first time they tried it, they weren’t impressed this time. The course took them too far away from me and they came back to me after a short distance of chasing the lure. Here I thought Ember was going to be different than Z-Evil One at something, I was wrong! I also enjoyed showing Ava yesterday in conformation as well. She won Best of Winners.
Outstanding—congratulations!
Good job Jennifer and Ember.
Congratulations also to Ava. Do you know if her owner took any pictures?
Thanks, Lynda. I know that she had her camera Friday and Sunday, as for taking pictures… 🙂 It is so easy to get involved in the moment and not pick up the camera. I brought my camera and the only pictures taken didn’t turn out. 🙁
I have no pictures of my dogs!!! UGH I wish I did Ava, looks gorgeous.
Ugh! Bad,bad, Julie!
Congratulations on another new title!!! You do a great job handling Ms Ember…and you did a great job handling Ava.
Thank you!
