What is a “sanctioned match” it is a practice AKC dog show for young puppies and dogs that are that do not yet AKC championship points. The judges are also practice judges. In a nutshell it is a good opportunity to get your puppies out and socialize them around a lot of other people and dogs.

When: Sunday, March 23, 2014
Where: Ann Arbor Kennel Club, Wight Training Center t 1575 East North Territorial Road t Whitmore Lake MI
Entries: Taken from 8:30AM until time of judging or 11:30AM Single entries: $10, Three or more littermates: $7 each
Classes offered: 3 – 6 months, 6 – 9 months, 9 – 12 months, Open; Puppies and Adults will be judged separately
Judging Times:
10AM: Sporting, Working, Herding (German Shepherd Dogs ar ein the Herding Group), & Toy
11AM or when ring becomes available: Terrier, Hound, & Non-Sporting

Directions: The Wight Training Center is located one mile east of U.S. 23, Exit 49, north of Ann Arbor. Driving east on N. Territorial from US 23, look for the AADTC sign just past the railroad tracks on your left.
It would be fun if several A-T pups could make the event. As Julie said, it is excellent exposure for pups.
