I just received the latest issue of the German Shepherd Dog Review and was looking through the new AKC titles of record (OK, I admit I like to see my dogs name in print). Looks like Bailey and her kids have been busy.
Momma Bailey was listed w/her new open agility preferred title
Bailey Kids Teren from the T litter and Ziva from the Z litter were sporting their new Rally Novice titles
Lisa, Lisa, Lisa…..
Aiden is very upset and wants to know if you are discriminating against him as he is not a Bailey “kid”…?? LOL!
I can see how you missed his name as it is not under “AKC Titles of Records” but he is listed on page 28 for earning his Herding Instinct Test Certificate.
I am like you though, and check for all the A-T dogs in each issue as soon as I get the GSD Review!
I wasn’t finished w/this post. How did it publish? I was looking for the info from last month’s review b/c Syd and you were in that one. I think Klara and Singer were there too. I was going to point out how many AT kids had titled in the last few months. Must be I did something wrong since this was still a draft.
No I saw it sitting there and I thought you did’t realize it didn’t get published so i published it. You can edit it and we can update the publish date so it will show up like it is new. I appreciate you doing this. I did not know that Teran earned a title!
Aha, the culprit revealed. Grandma Julie could not resist posting her kiddies brags :).
I will take some of the blame since it has been sitting there for a bit while I search for the prior month’s review in chaos house (we are painting and stuff is everywhere & nothing where it belongs)
Lisa,
Did you find the title for “Naughty Dog”? I know that Ember would be in that one!
Naughty dog’s owner
I’m not sure she would win the title. We should have a post where everyone lists their dogs naughtiest deed and let the judges decide 🙂
I’ll start. I took her to a birthday party at a church today. She had to be a very good girl, since taking her into a church, and to a birthday party is not really accepted (the host did say it was okay and we were going to Nosework right afterward 🙂 ). She was being a very good girl until…she tried to do the old magic trick of swiping the table cloth off the table while still leaving all the dishes. I think she was trying to get the dishes off as well with the food on them, though. She did it so fast, we were all kind of in shock. Luckily, she just put a hole in the table cloth since it was plastic. 🙂
Here’s another one, although I think this is partly the owner’s fault. Ember put her favorite ball in the trash while Aaron was fixing dinner and he forgot to get it out. Guess who had to dig through all of the old trash to find it, and then clean up? (Hint, not me) He found it, though, and it was a happy reunion.
This would be fun to post all of the naughty deeds and read about them! 🙂
I vote for the table cloth mis-deed!
Alta-Tollhaus dogs are published in The Review on a fairly consistent basis.
Thank you, hard-working owners!
