This is what Klara looks like with 2 legs before she got her 3rd leg in Novice B.
We showed in 3 Obedience Trials for 3 legs. The first two were at the Land of Lincoln Golden Retriever Club trial in early August held in Lowell, Indiana. The 3rd one was at the South Side All Breed trial October 12 held at Stone City Kennel Club in New Lenox, Illinois. The first leg we ended up with a 196 for a 3rd place! Ya – baby! Right out of the box. Couldn’t let the Goldens get all the placements. The second leg we got a 188.5 and still got a 4th place. Ehh…don’t ask. The 3rd leg we ended up with a 194 and a fourth place after winning a run off. There were a lot of experienced trainers at that one. She did well and I am proud of our girl.
Now it’s on to Open and Tracking and something more fun than heeling; although we’ve been working on all the pieces for that and Utility, now we’ll have to put them together. Thought I throw in a couple extra pictures of Klara even if the picture quality could use some help.
