I searched the blog and read a few comments about pet insurance. There was a post with a couple of links, one of which unfortunately doesn’t seem to work anymore. Julie, you had mentioned that your Golden breeder friend Judy’s daughter worked for a DMV and was going to ask and later post some of the better ones. I searched but couldn’t find anymore on that?
I know Jenny and Lorie named the plans they use and would like to know if they still have them and are happy with them.

Oh my gosh, that’s totally hilarious!
I use Embrace. So far it has been wonderful, but they just changed their carrier, so we will see. The give mulitiple pet and spay discounts. if you have a year where no claim is filed, then you also get a 5% reduction in your premium the next renewal.
We have PetPlan (http://www.gopetplan.com/) for both cats and Fenris. The rates are quite nice and there are discounts for having multiple pets, microchips, and a very nice military discount. We have the gold plan on Fenris and the bronze on Alpha & Omega.
We’ve never had to use it, but after having read the policy documents (which I can totally share a copy of if you’re interested. It’s actually quite easy to read and not full of legalese), I’m pretty confident with it.

I talked to someone that used VIP insurance and they were very happy with it.
