Looks like the Alta-Tollhaus east coast dogs were busy being successful this weekend. To add to the award tally, Ziva is now Alta-Tollhaus Ziva CGC, TD!! (I could not figure out how to get the Club photo to show, so here is the link(maybe Julie can help me out on this one)
These are my 2 instructors that made this possible and I can’t thank them enough for all of their help and support. Ruth on the left, who was also the trial secretary and Dot on the right who started us out the last week of May. Total time from 1st class to title-4 months and 1 week!
After a long day of competition, there was a stop off at the park for some fun.
Super! Congratulations!
Wooo woooo that is terrific Lisa! I would love to hear the details of the track, etc. I am thinking something like how Rich reports on his herding events? I really enjoy reading the details.
Tracking can be so scary…unless you have done it you don’t understand what I am talking about.
The drinking fountain photos are fun…and so are your girls!
Congratulations again, so awesome, especially because this is your first TD ever and you really have not been training all that long for it.
The photographer took video of all the runs. When she sends I will post with details. I hope she got the part with her walking back w/the glove looking so proud of herself.
I cannot get the link to open. 🙁
Congratulations, great photo’s!
Lisa and Ziva,
Congratulations on your TD title! 🙂

Fantastic news! I am so happy for you. Way to go Ziva.
woooot! congratulations to Z-Accomplished One! and congratulations to you, Lisa!
Congratulations Lisa and Ziva.
Wow, a tracking title after only 4 months of training. That is great.
Congratulations! It sounds like a lot of fun. I would love to learn tracking. I would also like to hear some details. 🙂
Congratulations! I love the water photos — I think I’ve seen that look before.
Woot, woot, Yeah!!! Congrats Team Ziva! I am just so proud of you, thank you for sharing the day! Great work!
Awesome! This is such a great accomplishment. I totally get what Julie says about tracking being scary. I think the events like tracking and nosework, where there are periods of time in which you have no real guarantee that your dog is right….are kind of terrifying. Good for you guys for such a great performance! I do hope to get back to tracking with Pieka someday. So many events, so little time.
I learned an important lesson while track/training one of my dogs……Their noses are so superior to ours…that if you’ve taken care in training them to do the things we need them to do (indicating articles) we need to TRUST them to follow our tracks. 🙂
