Lucy and I finally got our C-ATCH yesterday! It has taken 120 qualifying runs and 4 years. This past weekend we went 5/5 in Jumpers, Fullhouse, Jackpot, and 2 Standards. The Standards were really nice runs, while the Jackpot, which is the last run that we needed was a nail biter. My friends said that it was exciting to watch. The allowed time was 55 sec and we ran in 55:19 sec. If we would have been a full second over, we would have disqualified. It was still a nice run and I am very proud of Lucy.
Jennifer, That is awesome news, Congratulations!
Lucy has a big ole smile too! 🙂

Congratulations. You both look pleased.
Congratulations Jennifer and Lucy. That is fantastic!! From the color of all your ribbons it looks like you had great placements too!
Thanks, Lynda! We placed on Friday: Jumpers, 1st, Fullhouse, 2nd, Standard, 2nd, and on Sunday: Standard, 1st, Jackpot, 1st. At 8″ veterans (4″ jump height), there isn’t a lot of competition, but on Friday there were 3-4 dogs in each class and on Sunday there were 2 in each class. I don’t pay much attention to placing, I just want the q! 🙂
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! I am so happy for you I know how hard you and Lucy have worked toward this title.
Thank you! I am very proud of Lucy and know that she does agility to please me. She enjoys it to a point, but would rather sleep on my lap all day. 🙂
I like the butterfly cake!
My friend that I met while competing in CPE brought the cake as a surprise. I was very surprised, and touched. I have met some very nice people in CPE and was thrilled that I got my C-ATCH at this venue because of the people.
Congratulations! And good for you for sticking with it for 4 years — your persistent effort deserves a medal itself!
Excellent news! Congratulations to you both.
