I haven’t been on the blog for several days and there were a number of posts for me to catch up on. At training today, I was telling Barb and Susan about the latest chapters in the Kai Bruise Chronicles, but oh my! None of my entries can compete with yours! I hope you are healing quickly. That was a nasty cut. People will be giving Jack a suspicious glance when they see that. 🙂
I will say I know better (now) than to stick my finger into Kai’s ear when he’s not looking. I didn’t have a reason to do it – I just did it like you might do to pester someone. Apparently his natural instinct was to whip his head around fast as lightning and bite the offending hand. That one was on me. However the bite on the top of my bare foot later that same day when he tried to dive bomb the ball on the ground with his mouth and missed and got my foot next to said ball was on him. But, look how pretty he is. 🙂
Hi Scarlett,
Sorry to hear about your wounds. GSD’s sure do play hard and rough!!
I am healing quite quickly. My face is still badly bruised but the swelling went down. It was a nasty gash but the nurse practitioner did a very neat and tidy job with the sutures so hopefully it won’t leave a bad scar. The stitches will probably be able to come out tomorrow afternoon.
Kia sure is a handsome fellow. I agree with Carole, a gorgeous Allie son.
Oh I forgot….
We were surprised that Jack did not get a visit from the police while we were in the ER! I’m sure not everyone believed “The dog did it’!!
Too Funny- When I went to work w/my AT black eye, no one said anything except for the co-worker that has dogs. He said how did you do it, playing ball or bending over to get greeted!!!! Dog people understand these things.

I had to look up Kai’s birth date. He’s just a tad over 18 months. Very nice! Another gorgeous Allie son.

What a GORGEOUS boy Scarlett!
Looks like those “new tennis shoes” benefited him beautifully! 😉
Hah Karen -you and those new tennis shoes. They need to benefit me a little more. :).
Thank you!

Scarlett,
Kai was always handsome… Now he is totally gorgeous.
Love his majestic looking picture.
And boy, you sure suffered quite a few injuries… No one said owning a dog was going to be easy… 🙂
