Aiden and I had a head to head collision yesterday evening. Aiden’s head won!
I was bending over near a jump and Jack let Aiden out of the house. Aiden came running at top speed and jumped over the jump right into me. It happened so fast. His head hit mine and slammed my glasses into my face. My glasses didn’t break but caused a nasty gash. After hours in the ER I have 9 stitches. My face is bruised and swollen. Aiden is fine!
Welcome to the world of eager Alta-Tollhaus dogs!
I think the human always gets the worse end of it in a head-to-head, or nose-to-eye with a GSD.
Mighty fine battle scar you got there, Lynda. I’d be proud of that one!
Now, you must train Jack to yell *HEAD’S UP* before he lets the dogs out!
If you can wear them……perhaps contacts would work better for you?
Hugs, Terri, DuKe’s Ma
oh no! I’m sorry, Lynda. Grateful you were not more seriously injured — these dogs are powerful!
Wow! That’s a good one, Lynda….I am so sorry that you and Aiden “wrecked.” Been there, done that, it’s not fun. Hope you feel better.
Hugs to you and Aiden, Lynda! Jack too, because I am sure he isn’t feeling too great either!!
Ooouch!! Hope you were able to keep the swelling down and are feeling better today! I bet you are getting lots of TLC from Jack, Aiden and Dylan…hugs to all:)
OWWWWEEEEEEE Lynda, really 9 stitches??? You win. You know glasses are supposed to help protect you, but the way I see it they did the damage. Glad the little-divil-bone-head is fine. 🙂
OMG, I’m off the blog for a few days and look at you!!!! Ouch-I hope you are on your way to healing by now. I do understand the let’s do it NOW eager beaver attittude of these AT dogs, but it only cost me a black eye. On the up side I was able to see my right cheek w/out a mirror for a few days:)
By the way, how much chocolate did Jack bring home to make it feel better 😉
