G-litter Gavin x Hummel
Friday, Laura met me at Dr. Miller’s to help me with the puppies well-puppy vet check. It sure is easy when you have someone helping. Thank you Laura! All puppies had a good exam, a total of 10 testicles all in the proper place, all good hearts, one small umbilical hernia, beautiful healthy pups!
Last night Gustavo temperament test the litter, again very consistent across the litter in temperament.
They are getting meals with kibble with raw, and meals of straight raw. They love, love, love the raw. So far they have had raw chicken pieces, turkey hearts, ground chicken, ground tripe, chunked tripe, chunks of beef, salmon, and sardines. The chicken (bone and all) pieces seem to be their favorite.
This is the kibble they have been eating:
and
We take ground raw food or canned meat adding either coconut oil or olive oil and powdered vitamins, mixing this together, then we add the kibble and mix to coat the kibble.
Please only use stainless steel food and water dishes. NO plastic.
We are tattooing the pups today. Vaccinations will be modified live parvo + distemper, I will give or not give at your request. This is the schedule I like to follow:
Dr. Dodds’ Vaccine Recommendation
As you see she does not recommend the first vaccine until 9-10 weeks on the other hand I prefer to send them home with their first vaccine. This way the well-puppy vet check at your vet can be a pleasant meet and greet.
Wow…..sounds like they are all ready for their new homes.
I was looking all over for pictures………Don’t scream….I know you are a bit busy! 🙂
Hugs,
Terri, DuKe’s Ma
Crazy-busy and loving it!
