First my apologizes for taking so long to post pictures. I normal am posting pictures all along through the whelping process, but Ana did not let me have a break. She barely had any pre-labor…in fact she tried to skip it all together by hopping in with the 4.5 week old G-litter pups (Mattis x Havana) and letting them nurse on her. The nursing,which I put a stop to as soon as it started, may have helped circumvent the pre-labor drama. So skipping the long pre-amble to labor she went right into having puppies have 6 in 90 minutes, then she took a two hour break and had the last two. Five girls and 3 boys total. Of course I was worried there maybe one pup left and sat up with her all night.
