Hi Terri – looks like Digger might need more exercise or maybe less treats:), Ron just weighed him…66 lbs! How are Duke’s ears doing? Did you put the forms in? Digger’s right one stays up most of the time but the left only comes up when he’s excited about something. He’s working on it though.
I’m glad Duke is so loving just like his brother. I just love how sweet he is!

Not sure if Digger needs less treats or not? From what I can see in pictures of our boys, Digster is more compact then DuKaDuKe. DuKe isn’t a piggy at the food dish, either. He likes his training treats and his raw stuff..but still not much of an eater. He doesn’t look all lanky and his ribs don’t show…so I figure he’s getting what he needs.
His right ear go up and down all the time. I don’t have forms for his ears. He lost 4 baby teeth in one day, last week. So hopefully when he is all done teething??
Digger is definitely a good eater, rarely leaves anything in his dish, maybe because he knows he gets his blueberries when he finishes:) He likes his training treats and he gets a cookie at bedtime. Now that the time changed we can go for walks after I get home from work so he does get plenty of exercise.
How do you see his teeth? is there a trick? Digger rarely lets me look in there but I know those back molars are there, too big to miss

No trick to seeing his teeth. lol I try to be sure that I am able to touch any and every inch of my puppies. It takes time and treats and lots of praise. The reason I know he lost 4 baby teeth in one day? HaHa…2 were on the living room carpet and 2 came out at puppy class. But still, I want to be able to touch him where I need to. This really helps the vet exam him. Oddly enough, I found this out while helping a couple of friends at a Sieger Show. I said, “You want me to check his WHAT?” LOL Haven’t you checked to see if Diggers’ have dropped? 🙂 Sorry, couldn’t resist.
Oh yes we’ve checked and they’ve dropped:) We started in the beginning getting him comfortable with us touching him and checking where we need to and he’s really good about it. It didn’t occur to me to apply those same techniques to getting him to let me look in his mouth. I started today and he’s already getting better, thanks for the tip.

Picture this…..I’m in my recliner…I call DuKaDuke to come on over….he puts his front paws on my rt shoulder and his back legs on the foot part of the recliner…..and whoosh….horizontal we go. 🙂
